Owen and Richard started working together in 2002 creating musical skits, quizzes, jingles and parodies on The Fred MacAualay Show on BBC Radio Scotland.

Owen formed Dabster Productions with Richard in January 2006 and has since developed, written, produced and performed on several long running comedy series on BBC Radio 5Live including Premiership Square on The Eamonn Holmes Show and The Umpire Strikes Back presented by Gabby Logan.

He also worked in New York on Real American Folk for BBC Radio Scotland with Dean Friedman Productions.
