The Comedy Underground is a brand new television series for the brand new BBC channel, BBC Scotland.

Piloted on BBC Two, and now a major new series, The Comedy Underground is a stand-up series like another. Similar in that there is a stage, a microphone and some jokes; but wildly different in most other ways.

Dabster Productions have supported new comedy at every stage - from the Edinburgh Fringe to podcasting; Live at the Stand, 4 Extra Stands Up, The Guardian Podcast, Amnesty International... and now we have a new platform to showcase and develop the most exciting new talent that Scotland has to offer.

Originally broadcast in June 2019, with debuts from comedians that we know and love; comedians that surprise live audiences across the country every weekend; comedians that are part of The Comedy Underground.
