Edinburgh Unlocked

Pithy subheadline

It's one of our very favourite things, and we've been without it because of the pandemic.

Live comedy came back to its Mecca this summer, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival returned and it was great to open the doors again.

Mark Nelson hosted a cracking three part magazine show for BBC Scotland, covering every crook and crack of a very different festival - with fewer venues, performers and much smaller audiences. Nevertheless, there was joy to be found and whilst the sun shined, Jamie MacDonald, Rachel Jackson, Sanjeev Kohli and more roved the streets to find the best shows.

A total triumph for Dabster, making an anarchic show during a very wonky fringe.
