During the production of 'Karen Dunbar Live From Ayr' for BBC Scotland, Dabster were keen to extend our reach into the environmental and sustainability concerns of this dark world we live in, building on the work we have put in since 2021.

Impact on this production was higher than 'Scotland Stands Up' due to the need for accommodation, but by using talented producers, camera operators, runners and talent from within the local region, we kept this to a minimum.

Transport is a area of high impact, and so this continues to be a strength for Dabster.

As always our power is sourced from renewables in house - vastly contributing to our 72% rating from Albert - leaving room to improve. By the nature of the theatre we were unable to ensure that location heating and power were from renewable sources, but we are satisfied that every measure taken contributed to the betterment of everyone involved in the production.
